We are looking for a passionate, highly motivated QA Tester to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches.
In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases, dedicated, committed to the mission, and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications, and systems work correctly.
Job Description
- Reviewing and analyzing system specifications
- Executing test scripts and reviewing results
- Reporting and documenting technical issues
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze system specifications
- Develop effective strategies, test plans, and software test documents
- Create detailed and well-structured test plans based on requirements and features crew meetings
- Collaborate with QA engineers to improve testing strategies and test plans
- Execute test cases, manual and automated, and analyze results
- Report bugs and errors to development teams
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Familiarity with regression testing is a must
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Good knowledge of SQL and Python
- Excellent communication skills – Must be a team player with a positive can-do attitude
- Attention to detail
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Strong organizational skills
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus
- Coding skills – a big plus
